The same "Black brothers and sisters" ancestors have shed blood sweat and tears for this country. You see when we talk about African Americans and Illegal Hispanic Immigrants we are talking about two totally different groups of people, one group who were involuntarily brought to this country in order to perform slave duties, and another group who voluntarily come to this country to perform similar duties for slave wages. African Americans marched, protested, and did everything we had to do in order to gain our freedom. We were shot with water cannons, bitten by dogs, hung, raped, etc. Yet we still were mentally, physically, and spiritually strong enough to overcome all of the racial injustice that we had to endure for so many years.
Some of the slaves who escaped to the north joined with the union army to help fight for the freedom of their family members and friends who were still slaves. They were willing to give up their lives in order for future generations to prosper. Of all the slaves who had escaped to Canada a majority had returned to the United States after things started to somewhat settle down. The ones who remained in Canada did not march down the streets in major Canadian cities demanding civil rights, because they knew that it would be sensible to march in their homeland instead. Us African Americans are willing to give our lives up in hopes of bettering our future generations, but a lot of the Hispanic Immigrants don't see it the same way that we do. People are protesting here for the wrong reason. If you want freedom you have to fight for it! Not sneak into the neighboring country and demand those exact rights that your homeland has denied you.

You see NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT to call any AFRICAN AMERICAN a racist after all of the bull$h-t we have been through. We have always stood by OURSELVES. Whenever some sort of injustice happens to someone in the African American community how many Hispanic groups do you see coming out in support of them? Now, whenever some sort of injustice happens to someone who is Hispanic, think about how many African American organizations come out in support of the Hispanic community. I grew up in a predominately immigrant community, and almost 100% of all of my friends are immigrants. Just think about it, a place like Mexico is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, yet their Politicians continue to get rich off of the misfortune of their very own people. While people in the states are going to Mexico for vacation, Mexicans are sneaking into this country for opportunity. Where is the HEART? Where is the COURAGE? Hispanics should stand up, speak up, and fight for freedom in their countries!

And I Am Not A Lou Dobbs Fan . . . . .

reply to Hello, What it is that you don't understand from Mrs. Ross comment?
It is very clear that she is refering to our Joe Madison's SHAMEFUL alliance with racist Lou Dobbs against Hispanic immigrants. It is very clear that Mrs. Ross is refering to the number of Black brothers and sisters that have jumped in the white's bandwagon of & blame, and use the Hispanic immigrants as scape-goats

"discrimination against Hispanic immigrants"

What exactly are you talking about? May you please be more specific? Are you referring to a particular incident or situation that is taking place at the present moment?

Revised: due to computer filters, original comment was incomplete.
Our Black community can not cry and complaint about discrimination! while at the same time many participate, condone and join in the sunami wave of discrimination against Hispanic immigrants. The discrimination against Hispanic immigrants is headed by the same people that wore robes and hoods and discriminated against Blacks; the only difference is that now they were suits and ties and sit behind a microphone like Michael Savage, or in front of the cameras like Lou Dobbs!
