Perhaps it's wise to understand the limitations of lanuage, I'm not sure. I guess what I hope to do is to bring a universal perspective to some of these ideas as much as I can. I personally don't know of any blackpeople who are trying to stop black people from advancing. I will posit a thought here, however; "If that's ok, I hope" ?  I do think that some people have different ideas on how to approach progress. It is important for people to read & to try to fairly understand as much as is humanly possible. Today the main political arguments are of two opposing ideas, mainly. Those ideas are as follows: Should humanity embrace the ideas of   " Individualism " (which is an idea embraced by republicans, most republicans) or should we embrace ideas of  " Collectivism " (which is an idea mostly embraced by Democrats). To argue that the issue alone is to hold black people down "only" is to miss too much of the necessary points to be able to counter-point in an effective way. I've read some of your post and I must tell you that you put yourself in danger of being totally ignored by intelligent & thoughtful people. To truely understand why Americans would vote for a George Bush, I would point you in the direction of the works of "Ayn Rand". Read & study her and you will better understand your American Fellows.The majority of them anyway. I hope that you understand that my suggestion to study "Ayn Rand" is not my endorsement of this character. What I'm trying to do by writing this is to point you in the direction of the "Bouncing American Political Ball ". Not all "Democrats" are all the way "Democrats and Not all "Republicans" are all the way "Republicans". There are lines of Demarchation and where they are drawn can be an advantage to us as we try to make important points in our arguments. I need you to understand that one of the first things that intelligent, thoughtful people try to do is to be compassionate. I hope that this comes across to you as you read this. Perhaps this should've been my first sentence. After World War II; The ideas of which system held up the best for humanity was tested. Yes, the ideas of whether or not "Individualism" or "Collectivism" would best serve humanity was tested. The manifestation of this test was done in the divide of  Germany. There was East Germany and West Germany. East Germany embraced " Collectivism " and West Germany embraced the ideas of " Individualism ". Several years after World War II, when Reagan was in office the World got to Witness which of these systems was the better one for humanity. We got to see this without bloodshed. This was a true battle of ideas to action. Reagan ordered that the walls come down. With a heavy heart I must report to you that East Germany ended up a nation that was very poor and very few jobs or productivity for their citizens. West Germany on the other hand ended up a very wealthy nation & near full employment for it's citizens. This is recent historical fact that you can study for yourself. It's also chiefly the witnessing of this event that has emboldened the right wing or "Individualist" worldwide. They all knew that this experiment had been taking place in Germany and the world got a chance to see for themselves which of these ideas hold the best promise for humanity. Some say that the experiment is still taking place and they are now pointing to China !!! So, basicly I'm only writing this mainly to give you a heads-up / a peep dis notion to show you how others are thinking. Compassion for humanity is " in play ", here as hard as it might be to believe.

It's tempting for everyone of us to make the assumption that most of the work that has to be done, needs to be done outside of ourselves. It can be a bit nightmarish when we discover that the real work that needs to be done, must take place from within. Human nature truely longs to duck responsibility & to point the blame in another direction; any & everywhere except at me; the mind might say? This is true & tempting for all of us; All of humanity.

We could join together and read every last one of them and post our comments here on this very web-site that Mr. Madison has provided for us. Anyone care to do that?
