I'm canceling my XMSirius membership because I got it to listen to Joe and every time I listen to him, I get angry and irritated. He's living in the 60's...this is 2009, we have a Black President. Lighten up Joe, stop hanging up on your guests and let them talk. His callers sound more informed than Joe, but Joe won't let them make their point. Reminds me of my old grouchy grandpa who thought know one knew anything but him. I hated being around my grandaddy and now I hate hearing Joe Madison's voice. He's annoying.
Joe you're old news like Jesse Jackson. Obama doesn't need you and we don't either. Move aside for the new more enlightened generation, we are no longer slaves-
Joe Madison has to be the most racist talk host in the U.S. He makes Rush Limbaugh seem like a "choir boy". I started listening to him while driving to sales calls in my car, but probably about every other day, I have to turn him off because he is so rude and condescending to his callers. He comes off as arrogant and I think it's people like Joe who will keep us marginalized and underestimated as a race of people.
He is so pompous and self-righteous. I'm not an Al Sharpton fan, but I have to admit that he's a pretty good radio host. He does respect his callers and seems to be more on top of the issue than Joe. When I listen to Joe I keep thinking "no wonder we can't get ahead"...he's always dwelling on negative subjects...it's too depressing and he tries to "race bait" on every single topic.
Joe if you're reading these posts, "wise up"...you would have a better and more loyal following if you stayed on topic and not on victimhood and if you try to listen to your callers rather than trying to embarrass them or act like you're so much smarter.
The major problem with your argument is that you and other Pastors believe that it is YOUR church. Isn't it God's Church that belongs to God's people? As such people have the right to question your actions.
As long as the baker is baking my bread, and the banker is banking my money, I have a say in his actions.
So Reverend, toughen up. If you jump ship every time you disagree with someone, you will be flapping in the wind like a ship without a rudder.
Joe will entertain all points of view - the thing is - you can not call his show without being able to back up your point of view. You must be consistent and have facts on your side - to call and have a discussion stating , " I do not think such and such is right " and then not be able to say WHY you hold that point of view or to say , "I just feel that way " is ridiculous and the Eagle does not run that type of show. Joe Madison is the ONLY reason that I still subscribe to XM radio!
Hello Joe, I am displeased with you. I have called on the show and unlike Al Sharpton, you will not let me talk and others as well and then you hang up on me and others. Why do you open the phones? What is your problem? You cut people off, you will not let them talk. I use to tell all of my family and friends to listen to your show, but not any more!! You are just too rude. But, like you say; this is your show.
You had a topic the other day about the black church God does not see his church as black or white. There is one church; The Church of the living God. You talked about women preachers and why black churches will not let women preach. That is not a civil rights issue and just like you will not let people who call on your show run your show I say to you; leave the churches to the pastors. I read the book Pimps in the pulpit as well, Joe, I am not a Pimp. I am a man called of God to preach his word, not to Pimp his people. You would not say that about a Muslim, and I dont think you should.
I also said; you dont tell the Muslims how to run their temples and who should or should not operate in their temples. You will not criticize them on your show; because, they will come after you. I say to you leave God's local churches to God's men, the pastors. You say you know the Bible, well let me say this; you dont. You are a talk show host and not a preacher nor a pastor. I know you will not read this on your show or even let me say this on your show. So as a preacher and a pastor I say as the banker and the baker agreed with each other "the baker will not cash checks and the banker will not sell bread" so let you and I agree "I will not tell how to run your show and you don't tell me how to pastor the church".
Joe, I feel bad about this, because, I liked you a lot. I dont hate you; because Jesus Christ says; we should not hate. But you just lost a loyal listener. I dont take pleasure in this, because, we dont have many black talk shows in this area. You are just not good listening to any more to me. So I loose not you. I know you get a lot of hate mail, but this is a love letter.
