Racism will be alive as long as evil exist.  Racism is wrong and all people should stand against those who would promulgate such.  Unfortunately the battle against this horrible aspect of society is undermined by so-called activists who would lead you to believe they are compassionate individuals.  One such individual, in my opinion, is Joe Madison.

True compassion is not self serving.  Nor does true compassion serve to help a select few while demeaning and hurting others. Mr. Madisons views give insight into an individual who harbors much anger and hatred to anyone who is different than him; Different covering the full gamut from philosophical/political views of life to the color of your skin.  Mr. Madison constantly takes a position of animosity against those different than him such as conservative Christians.  He is on record saying people like me, a conservative Christian, undervalue, underestimate and marginalize the African American People.  It is amazing how insightful he is and that he has the ability to see into the hearts and souls of men.  One thing we know for sure is that Mr. Madison is a hypocrite because he does not practice what he preaches as he constantly undervalues, underestimates and marginalizes people like the Rev. Rick Warren who he has publicly condemned.  If Mr. Madison were truly objective he might be willing to see that Rev. Warren is not being hateful to a certain group of people but is standing firm on the word of God.  If Mr. Madison was truly willing to lead by example by valuing Rev. Warrens opinion, he might be able to see that the bigger issue is the preservation of Gods Word regarding how God defines sin.  You dont have to agree with Rev. Warren but at least be objective and open to why he has taken the stand he takes.  Instead, because Mr. Madison is angry with President Obama asking Rev. Warren to pray at the inauguration, he attacked his character as he quite often does in attempt to jade the view of his listeners.  I had to chuckle the other morning when Mr. Madison tried to mislead his viewers by once again distorting truth.  Mr. Madison said the conservatives would try to blame President Obama for the issue that occurred during administering of the oath of office.  Just before he made his statement Fox News reported on the same subject stating that they bet Chief Justice Roberts wished he had not made the mistake he made and could have a do over.  Fox objectively reported the facts unlike Mr. Madison who tries to distort the facts.  It should be noted that Mr. Madison quite often criticizes Fox for not being fair and balanced.

If Mr. Madison truly wanted to help the fight against racial injustice he should be willing to see that there are good, caring conservatives who give much time and resources to help those who unfortunately are down and out (including needy African Americans).  In his position he could do much to bring whites and blacks together.  However, he seems to be more desirous with cementing the racial divide by his distructive style.

Mr. Madison opens his show with reference to the prayer of Jabez.  The Old Testament story is one where Gods blessing is sought as Jabez longs for greater territory.  It should be noted that Mr. Madisons opening reference to Jabez does not mention Jabezs request to also keep him from evil that he may not cause pain.  Ironically it appears Mr. Madison is focused on the past and would be better served to focus on the future and draw on the New Testament Guidance of Jesus Christ and follow His command to first love our God with all our heart, soul and body and then love our neighbor as our self.  I dont know where Mr. Madison stands with the greatest commandment.  But it appears regarding the second, he limits neighbor to a select few contrary to Gods Word and the example set by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Sadly Mr. Madison it is people like you that actually hurt the battle against racism.  You do appear to be a man of great intellect but how wise you will be judged to be remains to be seen.  Quite frankly, in my opinion, your greatest qualification is that of racist and you are well suited to be in a forum on racism sitting across the table from someone like David Duke.  Maybe if you two were to come together you might find some common ground to start the healing process for both and maybe the world would be a better place.
