Congratulations Mr. Madison, on your C-Span appearance today. I was glad to learn about you & your Washington DC radio show. I think you are a force for good ansd will be mentioning your name to lots of folks. If it were up to me, Rush Limbaugh would have been thrown off the air and imprisoned a long time ago. It goes to show you what happened when Rock music migrated away from AM to FM and left a power gap in that medium. Like Nazi Adolf Hitler, Rush uses radio to abuse the truth and continues to brainwash his 'ditto-heads'. He has very little concern for the truth, and has been a direct conduit of distortion and misinformation from the horrible Bush administration into the empty minds of the unsuspecting public. I don't have too much good to say about Howard Stern or Imus either. We need more Joe Madisons out there, and smarter, more ethical media executives. Our culture is dying and the unscrupulous media barons are there to push it over the cliff.
I enjoyed your appearance on C-Span this morning, representing (I beleive) mainstream views, as opposed to Mr Massie. It is interesting (but not totally unexpected) that strategic tactics are being launched so quickly to undermine President Obama's victory. There is serious work to be done in this country to undo the damage left behind by the previous administration and while I know Republicans have a hard time with that... the facts are the facts. Here is where we as a nation have to be careful. There is an element in this country that wil attempt to embed the very same strategies used during slavery, as one caller indicated "divide and conquer". In fact, as i was trying to get a call through these were my exact words. We have to be very careful not to get pulled in and cause a national divide. Can we not see it? Where was the interest in Mr Steele before President Obama won the election? Now they are so interested that both the previous Vice President and President personally called him. Is he their new WMD? I don't know anything about Mr Steele except that a room filled with mostly one race of people cheered as he described a violent act, referring to anyone who got in their way. That in itself was very interesting. What I hope is that people will realize that a vote for Barak had absolutely nothing to do with his color, it was a belief in his philosophies and approach to representing ALL people. Please warn your listeners about the danger of being drawn into battles that we really should forfeit. It is clear that the Republicans have no intent of finding ground for cooperation but are still licking their wounds. This is exacty why millons of Americans (of all parties) showed up in Washington to demonstrate their support for President Obama. DAllen
