Oh yeah and the professor, like he likes to be called, is not a racist right?  Every person he talks about, he has to state their race.  When he was talking about the neighbor he said " the neighbor who I don't know, and is white".  Good representation you have black people, way to go.  Al Sharpton, Jackson, and this guy.

Not to mention Obama saying on live television that the officer acted stupid even though he didn't know the facts?!? So Obama sides with his black buddy without even knowing what happened?  He and others better listen to James David Manning.

Well, now that the drama and facts have started to settled, let's review.  A woman reported suspicious activity, that looked like a break-in, that had happened at a house that had been previously broken into.  Skip Gates had just gotten back from a long trip and was probably tired.  The police responded to the call and just wanted to make sure everything was in order.  Skippy went crazy and started to play the race card.  The officer tried to defuse the situation up to the point where Gates became belligerent.  A fellow officer, who is Black, supports the officer who made the arrest.  Yes, it should be the responsibility of an officer to diffuse these situations - but if you read the police report - Gates was just being an ass - albeit a tired one.  If it were me - I would have expressed appreciation to the officer for checking things out.  I would have thanked my neighbor because his house had been broken into before.  Gates owe the police department an apology.  Yep, that's the way I see it.
