The problem with the "Joe Madisons" of the world is they are to busy blaming everyone else for the ills of the black man.  It the slave owners fault, its the segregationist fault, it is the fault of the conservative rascist whites, etc. etc.etc.  The Joe Madisons of the world will not look within or ever be willing to hold blacks accountable for their actions.  Until the black community begins to hold "their people" accountable the black on black crime will continue to make headlines.  Little babies will die in their mother's arms while their uncle and great uncle die along with them.  But again Joe will blame this on whites.  How shamefull.  Maybe the Blacks can learn a lesson from the Jews.  They suffered much worse at the hands of the Egyptians and rose out of their bondange.  Blacks aught to be thankful they don't live in the Congo or Dafur where their women and children are raped and their men and boys are killed.  Just in case you did not know, the rapes and killings are being committed by blacks.  Its a shame that the Joes of the world hang on to so much hate. Doing such blinds them the need in "their" community.  Quit looking for handouts and always crying "wolf" claming you have been wronged by the evil whites of this county.  Take responsibility for the black men who would father children and fail to support them, take responsibility for the baggy pants young men who sit on the street because the Joes of the world allow them to drop out of school.  Quit blaming the school, hold the parent(s) accountable.  I can go on and on and on but the Joes of the world probably are to busy blaming George Bush or some other conservative "rascist" white man to even listen or maybe should I say care.

I was surprised to hear Joe's voice again. I was changing channels on my x-m

radio and I heard him.  I spoke to him over the radio about 16 years ago I guess.

Same Joe, I caught Joe in a lie.  The discussion was about personal responsibilty, he

felt that personal responsibilty was not for blacks and that the crime rate is the same

for both races.  I called him out on that and he could not give a straight answer.... The

truth Joe will always shine through.

so when has he publicize stories like the one provided in the original post?  He nor the NAACP never will call out the racist blacks.  It hard to call your self on the carpet isn't is?

There have been racially motivated crimes by both races but, where is the part where you show where Madison said that blacks can't be evil racist?

Joe when will you stand up for all people?  All you do is stir hate.  It is a sad commentary that you will be remembered for such unless you change your ways.

This story supports the position that evil racist tendencies exists in all people groups and not just whites as Joe would want the black community to believe.

Story is from local paper in SC.

The convicted triggerman in the racially driven murder of a 25-year-old woman, who in 1992 was raped, tortured and shot several times in the face before being dumped alongside a road near Summerville, is set to be put to death tonight, Friday, Dec. 5, in Columbia.

Absent of any last-minute appeals, Joseph M.L. Gardner, 38, is scheduled to die by lethal injection at 6 p.m. at Broad River Correctional Institution, home of the states capital punishment facility.

On Dec. 30, 1992, a passing motorist found Melissa Missi McLauchlin still alive near a lumber treatment yard on U.S. Hwy. 78, just outside of Summerville. She had been shot five times in the face and once in the arm and died before the ambulance could arrive.

A Dorchester County jury found Gardner guilty of the crime in 1995. He had remained a fugitive for nearly two years before he was arrested in Philadelphia.

Court testimony would later reveal that earlier in the evening of Dec. 30, 1992 after an argument with her boyfriend inside a North Charleston bar an inebriated McLauchlin was walking home when she approached a car at the intersection of Otranto and Rivers avenues, talked to three men in the car about partying and got into the car with them.

McLaughlins father told members of the press after Gardners conviction in 1995 that he would go to his grave convinced his daughter did not get into the car of her own volition.

Once inside the car, Missi McLauchlin was taken to a mobile home in North Charleston where she was forced to engage in a variety of sexual acts with five men, according to testimony. She was then blindfolded, handcuffed, her head shoved onto the rear floorboard of a car, and driven into Dorchester County, all the while kicking and protesting that she couldnt breathe.

McLauchlins death grabbed national attention when investigators learned it was racially motivated. She was white; the men convicted of killing her were black.

A note found in the possession of one suspect contained an angry comment about the white oppression of blacks and how to gain revenge for it. Another suspect told police McLauchlin was raped and killed because of 400 years of oppression of black people. Several suspects told police that they met the night before McLauchlin was killed and decided to rape and kill a white woman.

Gardner was the only defendant to receive the death penalty for McLauchlins murder. His two co-defendants were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

Gardner has been on Death Row at Lieber Correctional Institution near Ridgeville. The S.C. Supreme Court on Nov. 10 issued an order directing that his sentence be carried out. In accordance with state law, his execution was set for the fourth Friday following the order.
