They didn't eat pizza just because it was on the plate. It was the grease and the need to wash hands. I know, you don't believe it. But where are their clothes? Did she handle the weapon? Did they mix the boozes so that the pair couldn't recalls, until the pair woke up the next day? Think outside the box.
