""Except, one thing"", Mr. Gurly had 'just' arrived to the 7th floor from a functional elevator. They left the apt, waited for the elevator and after a couple of minutes, decided to walk to the ground egress. With him, his 2 year old daughter and family. Through the normal course activity, Talking, a shot rangs out      BAM!    You know the rest... Post Script: You know the search Mr. Gurly for weapons. Left on the 7th floor, before police took there time in removal of the deceased, police found 'nothing'. Believe me, the looked for incriminating evidence - nothing was found, on his person, in nearness of the crime scene, nothing - The Cops looked...
