The one comment I have about your comments...that I found somewhat interesting and somewhat amusing. The statue of Rocky....I agree with Madison....That maybe has a place in Hollywood - but Joe Frazier was a real boxer. Rocky was just a movie, and always struck me as having some racist undertones. Now this comment is coming from a white guy, so don't go off a tirad about black racism or bias. Also, just as an aside...those Rocky movies sucked.
Ok so lets get this straight.. Rocky: a fictional character has a statue in front of an ART museum ( not a boxing or sports museum) and Joe Frazier is a REAL person/athlete and should have a statue of him such as Rocky in front of a building that has not a thing to do with actual sports.. Ok So should Micky Mouse or any other fictional character have a statue in front of some boxing museum or sports hall of fame?
Honestly. If you and Madison can't see the oddity of having a sports statue in front of an arts museum then I have to wonder if you and he can actually match your own cloths.
Hell we might as well just start placing country music legends statues in the automotive museums and historical Medical displays in front of the industrial arts museum.

That's funny sounds like you're talking about Rush Limbaugh. He's the one who monitors his calls. Joe Madison will let anyone talk to him, regardless of whether or not they agree with him. I sometimes disagree with Mr. Madison and when I do, I let him know it. Sheepish ? Is a right-wing republican whose losing their home, after their kid was killed in Iraq and yet they still shake their poms-poms for the right-wing and this president.
Typical Lib. Loon thinking. Regardless of party if you are so ignorant that you cant read or understand a contract you shouldn't sign it. Bush had nothing to do with the housing situation. buyer ignorance did. Mr. Madisons education excedes his intelegence.

Friday morning there was a caller that asked Mr. Madison if "it was any other religion would it had made a difference?" I cant remember the specific story but he was refering to a media reaction of a christian statement someone gave. Mr.Madison asked the caller if he knew anything about the muslim reiigion and the caller responded that he hasn't and chose not to. Mr. Madison then went on to critisize the caller for choosing to be ignorant. etc.. etc..
I called the show and tried to tell Mr. Madison that the caller was trying to ask him if the statement had been made by a Muslim if it would have recieved the same level of cetique by the media but Mr. Madison started his rant on choosing to be ignorant again.. I tried telling him that that was irrelivant and the original question was refering to the political correctness of religion in the media. Still Mr. Madison decided not to address that point and instead decided to make a point that you have to know everything about something before you can decide you don't like it. He also decided to mock me with a white southern accent and a laugh. lol His final statement was In America you have the right to be stupid and implied that is what I was saying. I have tried to treat everyone with the same respect regardless of race as I would want for myself. I started listening to Mr Madison, Warren Balentine, and Al Sharpton to try and get an even balance from what the main stream media portrays and to better understand the views of the black community. I guess Mr. Madison has shown me what side of the tracks I need to be on though.
Now so we are all on the same page here I will give Mr. Madison a couple definitions as it is clear he has forgoten them.
Ignorant: lacking knowledge or comprehension of the thing specified.
Stupid : Slow mind, lacking intelligence or reason , inability to learn
So I am asking you. How much about White superiority do you (black people) need to know before you decide you don't like it?
Or how much about the KKK do you need know before you decide you don't like it either?
My point is that there are some things you do not need to know every detail about to make a decision that you do not like it. So yes you do have the right to be ignorant about something if it is aparent that it goes against your religion, morals or beliefs. You do not have the right to be stupid as it is a condition you would have to be born with or a result of something happening to you.
Now to the original question Mr. Madison refused to address: Is there a media and legal bias against Christianity in a nation that was founded on christian views? Your children cant wear anything that implies God or christianity in public schools but muslim children are permited to bring prayor rugs?
Your children cant have open prayor in public schools but not so for the Muslim children.
Some schools are asking to install foot baths but cant have anything related to christianity?
And just on another note Mr. Madison about your claim of cultural conditioning which is true in some situations. Your thursday show you ranted about the Rocky statue at the top of the Philly arts mseum should be a statue of Joe Frasier. Laughable at the least In my oppinion
The reason the statue of Rocky is there is because the film was a big hit at the time by blacks and whites mind you. The steps were featured in the film and the statue was placed there to bring tourists much like other cities do when something of theirs is symbolic in a hit film. Its an ART museum Rocky was a fictional character. a film is a form of visual ART. If Rocky had a statue at the steps of the sports hall of fame or a Boxing museum then your point would have been valid but as it stands here its moot and applies to the black helocopter mentality.
