I always enjoy Mr. Madison's comment about putting it where the goats can get it. Here is a very interesting link as to where that may have come from. Werid but interesting.
well, here's a link that explains the difference. But I say Ketchup. And I like the "My Pet Goat" thing. The most famous reader of this very good book is of course our President, who can really mangle words.
That link is sooo funny! What's even funnier, is that I thought it was all true until I read the name of the law firm that brought the suit. Would you happen to be the author of this condiment fiction? Good stuff! Great site! I have bookmarked and will visit this site again. Thank you.

Could you be Dan Quayle ? I say tomato. And Potato. No e's. Mr. Madison appreciates proper grammar - I was only trying to help. Words matter...remember?
You are right. Not about being Dan Quayle, but that words do matter. My grammar is kind of poor. Thanks for pointing out the "e". So then do you say Ketchup or do you say catsup?

Love your show. I listen to it every morning. But you tend to use a phrase "I could care less".....the correct phrase is "I could NOT care less". Frequent mis-statement of this phrase.
You say " tomatoe", I say " tamatoe". You say " potatoe", I say ....... You wrote, " But you tend to use A phrase ". Should it have said " But you tend to use THE phrase. Ether way, I COULD'NT CARE LESS. I just wish I had a fraction of the education that Mr. Madison has. Anonymous.
