A study released Tuesday by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reveals that the majority of corporations pay no federal taxes on profits accrued through business conducted within the US.

Right-wing critics of the tax on corporate profits claim that the 35 percent rate puts US-based corporations at a competitive disadvantage in the global competition to create what is euphemistically called, a friendly business environment. 

However, the GAO report demonstrates that this high-end tax rate is largely mythical, as the majority of corporations in fact pay no taxes whatsoever.

The GAO report demonstrates that the tax system provides no means of redistributing social wealth from the corporate oligarchy to the great majority of the population. Just the opposite is the case.

 Thats the spirit! Whatever lets you sleep at night.. The pure fact is that Blacks still only make up less than 15% of the total population. Thats every man, woman, and child combined.  How many of those are eligible to vote? 30% ? How many will is unknown.. sure more will vote now but that door swings both ways.

Just as there are more blacks that will vote for Obama there will also be more people that will vote against him that normaly don't vote just to keep his socialist views out and just because he is black. Obama will sink further and further down as his policies are known for what they are and exactly who they will affect and how. When you good people actualy realize how Obama will drain your pockets through capital gains and windfall taxes.. You know the ones that get passed along to the consumers in the prices!  lol The chump change people will save by not paying taxes under 50k will in no way displace the cost of everyday living that will be expionentialy increased due to his rediculous policies.

 If Obama by some miracle does win. (Which I almost wish he would..) You will get exactly what you deserve. After you are drained and subserviant to government aid You will realize exactly what all the reich wing nuts were warning everyone about. Until then.. Enjoy the sweet taste of the KoolAid.

As far as "pathetic" goe's, how about  Larry Craig (toe tapping), Tom Foley (little boy's), John McCain (keating five scandle), Whites voted for these Whites.

tcc473, can you tell me exactly who said " if white voters do not vote for a black candidate they are racist."  I must have missed that comment.  Though I did hear Hillary Clinton say " uneducated, lower class southern whites "  where more likely to support her,  when she was still in the race.  Also, ever since I was old enough to vote, I had always voted for a white candidate given my choices. I did not vote based on race, but only on the issues. I would assume that since blacks were allowed to vote, they did the same, given their choices. I truely hope that race is not the issue for you tcc473 when you go to vote.  America needs to move forward, and PROPERLY bury the past.
