Leadership is measured by the ability of one to bring people together.  Listening to President Obama speak today saddens me as he from a church pulpit reflects on the past year.  He said he would bridge the gap established by those political parties who seem to serve self and not the greater good of mankind.  One of two truths is evident.  Either President Obama has failed as a leader because he has done little if anything to bring the two primary political parties together in this country or he has been disingenuous.  History will judge him as which is the case.  In my opinion, I believe the latter to be a fitting judgment based on his record to date.  I make this judgment based on other indicators of doublespeak such as unfulfilled promises transparency and freedom from influence of lobbyist.

For those who are so willing to blindly accept someone because of racial convictions be careful!  Your unwillingness to hold accountable those who make promises or even criticize indicates a blind allegiance that at best is naïve and at worse a true sign of weakness that put the foundation of freedom at risk.
