If you think the us govt can handle managing health care, how come federal workers pay more for their insurrance premiums and get less coverage than other comparable workers in the private sector?
You want a lie - the US Govt is the most efficient at doing everything! Give me a break. The US Govt cannot operate the postal service in the black. How many millions did the US Postal Service lose last year? How may millions did the US Govt lose last year to run Amtrack? How many millions did we pay for politians to fly (+their families) to the Great Global Warming Conference? Efficieny at its best! How about use of tax dollars to stimulate the economy? How about if I told you the US Govt was spending your tax dollars to run diesel generators (d/g) 12 hrs a day 7 days a week to power portable bathrooms? Oh by the way the bathrooms are rented with your tax dollars. So much for concern about global warming (d/g are not carbon emission friendly). I could go on and on and on. But for you cool aide drinkers it wont matter. You continue to look for govt handouts from liberal progressive dems who only serve to control you like a lap dog!
You liberals make all these claims yet you fail to explain why the other nations with government run health care provide so little and their systems are going bankrupt and have a shortage of providers. Hell they should all be the leaders of the world with all the jobs and revenue that their government heath care is supposed to be bringing in with their already astronomical taxes. yet they aren't.... I wonder why?
Government intervention and tort laws have been responsible for the bulk of health care costs, not privatization. As far as your idea of government subsidizing, well you have just proven the fact that you are a copy past artist and have never read a page of the bill for yourself. But maybe congress has refused to drop their private health coverage and benefits for this socialized monstrosity because the think they aren't worthy of it, Maybe senators are just taking bribes and pork deals to sign on to the bill because it's so good but they were just holding out for that little something extra. Maybe congress and this fool obama has refused to allow any debate or public viewing of proceedings on the bill because the people will just be too overwhelmed with joy to function. Surely no to hide or divulge the real workings of the bill you idiots are too stupid to read yourself.
Buying PHC across state lines will bring down healthcare cost. LIE.Nothing will being down the cost of private healthcare providers except if is it subsidized by the Federal Government because PHC cannot bring down cost without cutting services and cannot survive without making a profit and they cannot make a profit if they bring down cost. They will not be able to take existing illness. Not able to keep clients with long term illness. Existing illness and long term illness cost too much to be provided by PHC. PHC cannot afford to bring down cost.
Government Health Care plan will raise taxes. LIE. GHC plan will create taxes and put people to work and working people will pay taxes and will buy products that are taxed. Taxes will be raised on those who can afford pay a little more. GHC will need to hire doctors, nurses and aids. Construction companies will hire lots of workers to built clinic, offices and hospitals and they will have to be staffed and the list of jobs is too long to list . GHC will put millions to work and worker will boost the economy with buying power and business will sell and hire workers and they will pay taxes and buy products that are taxed, etc. GHC will create jobs, taxes and fix the economy. GHC will cost too much. LIE. Republican HC plan, private HC, will cost less but will cover fewer people and we will have to create another HC plan to cover those PHC will not cover. Savings from cutting fraud and waste will help cover cost.
GHC will fix the economy and a thriving economy will fix all the other problems. Healthcare is a product that will sell.
Pass the GHC bill because if you dont the American people will loose. If Obama is going to FIGHT for the people, Congress need to pass this HC bill now and worry about THEIR jobs later. What are more important, your jobs or the lives of Americans?
